Manikarnika Kund
It is a place where two streams of the Ganga and Yamuna meet. It is situated in the premises of Vishwanath Temple. In a small pond (kund) called the Manikarnika Kund here, in front of the temple, a Shiva-linga is bathed by two springs, representing the rivers Ganges (Bhagirathi) and Yamuna. The Yamuna spring water emanates from a goumukh (spout in the shape of a cow’s mouth) and the Bhagirathi spring flows through trunk of an elephant strategically placed above the linga.
Ardhnarishwar
One of the popular temples in Guptkashi, the temple of Ardhnarishwar is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his half male and half female form also known as Ardhnarishwar.
Ardhanarishvara represents the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies of the universe (Purusha and Prakriti) and illustrates how Shakti, the female principle of God, is inseparable from (or the same as, according to some interpretations) Shiva, the male principle of God, and vice versa.
Kalimath
Kalimath is a village which is regarded as a divine place and shakti peeth. It lies at an altitude of around 6,000 feet (1,800 m) on the river Saraswati in the Himalayas, surrounded by the peaks of Kedarnath in Rudraprayag District of Uttarakhand, India. Kalimath is situated close to Ukhimath, and Guptakashi. Kalimath lies on lap of nature offering salubrious and divine environment. Goddess Kali Temple is located in Kalimath.

Chandrashila is the peak of the ridge hosting the famous Tungnath temple. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) above sea level. This peak provides enchanting vistas of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. There are various legends associated with this place. Chandrashila treks are one of the most popular treks among trekkers seeking the beauty of nature sans the crowd.
Kanchula Korak Musk Deer Sanctuary
Kanchula Korak Musk Deer Sanctuary is the house of the famous Musk Deer. This place also has an abundance of lush green vegetation, a lot of varieties of which are claimed by locals to have not even been scientifically classified yet. This place, situated 7km from Chopta on Chopta – Gopeshwar road is spread over an area of 5 square kilometres. It is an ideal place for animal lovers and those looking for rare Himalayan wildlife.
