About Mandakini Resort Tilwara

In the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, a little town called Tilwara or Tilbada is nestled on the banks of the Mandakini River. Tilwara, which is situated on the NH 107 exit leading to Kedarnath, has developed into a significant market area for the nearby communities.

Arrival at GMVN Mandakini Resort Tilwara Welcome drink
Evening Hi Tea (complimentary cookies & assorted pakodas) Experience the warmth around a mesmerizing bonfire under the starlight sky

Day 2

Breakfast Tilwara to GMVN Ukimath. 38 km (guests or visitors possess their own car)
Visit the famous Ukhimath temple , Kalimath Temple Lunch (Veg only) at GMVN Ukhimath
Back to Ukhimath Dinner (Veg only)

Trek to Base Camp, taking plenty of time to acclimatize and to visit the Sherpa families and support facilities that will become increasingly important during our expedition. We will spend several days in Namche ahead of most trekkers, and will visit the monasteries in Tengboche and Pangboche.
