Famous ShaktiPeeth of this area dedicated to Goddess Durga is around 33kms from Pauri on Pauri- Kotdwar motor road. A special worship is offered during Navratras’ people come from far and wide to pray for the fulfillment of their desires. Accommodation units like Tourist rest House (4 beds) and Dharamshala are available here. Temple is located on the Northern bank of river Nayar, nearby station is Satpuli some 17 km.

Ghandiyal Devta is a very renowned God and is worshipped very religiously in Tehri & other regions of Uttarakhand. It is believed that Ghandiyal Devta is the incarnation of Lord Abhimanyu and was a devotee of Lord Shiva. He is worshipped as rashak dev-‘the divine protector’.
The Ghandiyal Devta Raj Jaat is organized in every alternate six and 12 years. The Fair is organized at Ghandiyal Dhaar in Lostu Badiyargarh in Tehri district of Uttarakhand.
