Overview

Located bank on the confluence of River Yamuna  & River Assan. A man made lake on the confulence of two rivers is an internationally acclaimed site. The site is called Assan Conservation Reserve, which is located at the periphery of Assan Conservation Reserve, THe firs Conservation Reserve of india. The site is popular amongst Birding community, because it holdes three internatinal status, Important Birding areas of India(IBA), A Ramsar Site & Conservation Reserve.

The man made lake is used by migratory and resident birds.  Ducks, geese, waders storks etc. flock during winters some storks are summer visitors to this site. For reccreation the site is also used for boating in limited area so that the birds are not disturbed. 

The site has accommodation facility in family duplex cottages and dromitories for groups, Fast food restaurant, boating (Padle Boating) and garden for recreation. 

Spotting scope is also available on rent for bird lovers.
