By Air :
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport to Mussoorie. It is situated 60kms from Mussoorie and connected with well-metalled roads. Taxis are easily available from Jolly Grant Airport to Mussoorie.
By Rail :
The nearest railway station to Mussoorie is Dehradun Railway station at a distance of 36kms. Dehradun is well connected by trains from major cities of India as there are two trains that run daily between Delhi to Dehradun and vice-versa. Mussoorie is located 36kms from Dehradun Railway Station. Shatabdi Express and Mussoorie Express are the two major trains connecting Dehradun with major cities of India. Gun Hill
Gun Hill is the second highest peak of Mussoorie. The Mall is the starting point for the cable car towards the summit of Gun Hill. The thrill of the ride is memorable and offers beautiful views of the Himalayan Ranges. Gun Hill is favourite place for viewing picturesque Himalayan range and Doon Valley. Gun Hill is popular place among photographers and Himalayan viewers as it provides a 360 degree view of Himalayan ranges namely Bunderpunch, Srikantha, Pithwara and Gangotri group etc.
Mussoorie Lake
The artificial Mussoorie Lake is situated about 6 km short of Mussoorie on the way from Dehradun. The Mussoorie Lake is a delightful spot where paddle-boats are available. It commands an enchanting view of Doon valley and nearby villages. Famous among family and couples for a perfect picnic spot near Mussoorie, a newly developed Mussoorie Lake is a newly developed tourist spot by City Board. Mussoorie Lake is perfect place for a day out picnic with boating as well.
Camels Back Road
Camel's Back Road is suitable for horse riding, walking and beautiful sunset views of the Himalayas. A superb rock formation, with a life-like resemblance to a sitting camel can be seen from this spot.

Kempty Fall
Known for its milky streams of water, Kempty Fall was developed by a British officer as a place for organizing tea parties. Surkanda Devi
Situated at an elevation of 3030 mts above sea level near village Kaddukhal the temple of Surkanda Devi is 33 kms from Kaddukhal and one has to trek about 2 kms. The temple of Surkanda Devi is situated on the top of the mountain and is of great religious significance. A fair is held every year on “Ganga Dussehra” during May-June in which thousands of people participate.
Bhatta Fall
Near the township of Mussoorie, Bhatta Falls is a major tourist picnic spot. Visitors can see several picturesque locations ideal for photographer to catch nature at its best.
Tourists like to bath with fun at the pond. Slopes and Swings are also provided in the Children's Park for playing purpose. Tourists are advised to carry their own lunch as there is also some small eateries are available.
Clouds End
A British major had a building constructed in 1838. This beautiful building was converted into hotel and was named Cloud's End. It got the name because it appears that the clouds have ended here. From this place one can have a good view of the valley. Cloud's End is located some eight kilometers west of Mussoorie hills. Due to its location, at the end of horizon, it is very popular among the Honeymooners and Foreign tourists.
