Chirmiri Neck is the highest peak in Chakrata surrounded by lush green deodar forests. Tourists can enjoy the magnificent view of the Himalayan Ranges and distant hills from Chilmiri Neck. Bandarpoonch, Rohini and Swarg Peaks are some most famous mountain peaks which can be easily seen from Chilmiri Neck. Forest area surrounding Chilmiri Neck provides ample opportunities for birds watching.
Deoban Devban
Deoban is a picturesque spot near Chakrata town. As the Deoban (Devban) name suggest 'Gods own Forest', it has a true peaceful environment giving inner calmness.
Visitors can witness scenic hilly terrains from Deoban as it is located at a height of 2200 mtrs to 3025 mts above sea level. Vyas Shikhar is highest peak in Devban and from there you may experience marvellous Himalayan views.
Tiger Falls
Tiger falls is the main attraction in Chakrata - 20 kms from Chakrata. This mesmerising waterfall can be reached by an easy 5km trek with rhododendron and oak trees everywhere. The adventurous trek to the Tiger Fall is an enthralling experience. Tiger falls is one of the highest waterfalls in India falling from a height of about 312ft. This is an ideal place for picnic and doing photography.

Kalsi is a small town located in between Chakrata and Dehradun near Dakpatthar on the banks of Yamuna river. Kalsi town is known for its heritage importance. Famous Mauryan Emperor, Ashoka's inscriptions as rock edicts is present in Kalsi. Its importance rises as it is the only Ashoka's Rock edict located in North India. The language used in these edicts is Pali.
